Expressions of interest wanted for AMCouncil Melbourne Chapter YAMP Representative
The Melbourne chapter is seeking a highly qualified practitioner in asset management to serve as its Chapter Chair for the Young Asset Management Practitioners Group. The following credentials and qualities are desired:
Through the commitment of our Members the AM Council has formed a Transport in Asset Management Special Interest Group (TiAM Group). The intent is for the TiAM Group to share examples of good practice and address topics that will benefit the broader transport asset management community.
Our Perth chapter got together yesterday evening to kick off the first of many events for 2018, this one all about Value, Improvement and Innovation in Asset Management. James Wright (Jacobs) went through some practical examples of how to embed an effective asset management culture in organisations. Ian Moon from the Warship Asset Management Alliance Management Office followed up with exploring the understanding, development, implementation and challenges of Continous Improvement in a defence and industry alliance environment.

The World Bank is seeking expressions of interest for designing a Public Asset Registry in the Philippines. This engagement will require a background in public asset management, but it also has a strong focus on technologies, including looking at new tech solutions and what could be done differently in the future around public asset data management.
