Valuable Insights from Sydney’s ACA/AMC Seminar
On the 31st of August 2017 we hosted the joint Australasian Corrosion Association and Asset Management Council seminar in Sydney. The high calibre of presenters and the depth of knowledge provided the audience relevant case studies in Asset Management and the underlying processes for managing corrosion. Valuable insights drawn from and widely agreed on the day included that:
“I am the Chairwoman of the NCCOE, the only woman on the committee and within the corresponding members. Why do I think it is important to have more women in coastal and how do we facilitate change?” questions Tanya Stul.
The Melbourne Chapter’s August technical session was focussed on capability development in asset management. Sandy Dunn, AMC member from the Perth Chapter and Managing Director of Assetivity, presented a range of views on the subject and generated a lot of interest. More than forty people attended the session at Engineering Australia’s Melbourne facilities.
