The Asset Management Council is a partner with research unit Smartcrete CRC. A project funded through the Smartcrete CRC “Decarbonisation Pathways for the Australian Cement and Concrete Sector” cumulated in a report released in February 2022. Details about the project can be found here. A copy of the report can be downloaded from here.
We are privileged to have the CEO of the “Cement Industry Federation of Australia”, Dr Margie Thomson, present the international report on “Decarbonisation Pathways for the Australia Cement and Concrete Sector” report to our delegates at AMPEAK in the 4:40pm till 5:05 pm session on Monday 4th April 2022.

An Overview of ISO 55012
Join the Asset Management Council Melbourne Chapter for an overview of ISO 55012. Tom Carpenter is a valued member of the Asset Management Council and Melbourne Chapter, and also represents Standards SME as part of the Australian delegation at the international ISO/TC251 committee. Tom will provide an update on the new guidelines on people involvement and competence within asset management, which will be followed by a Q&A discussion.

World Water Day 2022 is all about groundwater and making the invisible, visible. We’re thinking about how effective asset management can ensure that groundwater sources are explored, protected and sustainably used.
Almost all liquid freshwater in the world is groundwater, this groundwater supports drinking water supplies, sanitation, farming, industry and entire ecosystems. However, this incredibly valuable source is being overused in many areas and polluted from human activity.
