U.S. Airport – ISO 55000 Journey

Presenter: Russell Weniger is the U.S. Air Force, Chief, Facility Operations, AFIMSC. Mr. Weniger has been with the U.S. Air Force for more than 16 yearsand has worked around the world serving in facility asset managementroles. He has spearheaded the U.S. Air Force ISO 55000 journey, whichhas been expanding since the standard was published in 2014. He hasBachelor’s degree in Civil Engineering and a Masters in Management ofTechnology. He has provided presentations for many associations andfollows the Asset Management Council.
 
Brisbane Airport – Benefits of Asset Management to BAC, a 5 year review
 
Presenter: Anu Karunaratne is the Asset Management Systems Manager for Brisbane Airport Corporation, where he has worked for more than 6 years. More than 24,000 people work at over 400 businesses at the Brisbane Airport, which covers more than 2,700 ha, making it the largest airport in Australia.  Mr. Karunaratne has a Bachelors’ degree in Civil Engineering and Masters in Business.
