Following last month’s Annual General Meeting, the Asset Management Council’s New Zealand Chapter is pleased to announce its committee lineup for the 2024/25 term.

We are delighted that Wayne Hatcher and Luka Baresic will continue to lead as Chair and Secretary, respectively, each embarking on their second year of a two-year term. Their ongoing leadership is instrumental in driving forward our chapter’s initiatives and fostering growth within our community.

This year brings a change in the vice-chairmanship, as we bid farewell to Jon Irving, who has stepped down from his role as Vice Chair and left the committee. We extend our heartfelt thanks to Jon for his dedicated service and substantial contributions to the chapter. His leadership and expertise have been pivotal in our achievements.

Stepping into the role of co-Vice Chairs are Peter Griffiths and Raymond Tan. Peter, a longstanding general committee member, brings a wealth of experience and a deep understanding of our community’s needs. Raymond returns to the committee with fresh insights and renewed vigor, ready to help lead our chapter into a successful year.

We are also excited to welcome Kate Ivichera as a new member of the committee. Her fresh perspectives and enthusiasm will surely enrich our discussions and initiatives. Returning members Adele Jones, Jack Crutzen, and Rex Harland, who have been renominated, continue to be invaluable assets to our team.

As we move forward, we also say goodbye to Mark Chatterton, who leaves the committee this year. We are profoundly grateful for Mark’s contributions and wish him the best in his future endeavors.

With this dynamic team, the Asset Management Council’s New Zealand Chapter looks forward to a year of innovation, collaboration, and advancement in the field of asset management. Together, we are committed to providing our members with the resources, knowledge, and opportunities to excel.
