The Asset Management Council is inviting expressions of interest from members who would like to volunteer on the organising committee for the Young Asset Management Practitioners (YAMP) Special Interest Group (SIG).

As YAMP continues to expand its national presence, the Council is particularly keen to strengthen committee representation from Melbourne, Brisbane, and Perth. Members based in these regions are strongly encouraged to apply and help shape the future direction of the group.

Role of the General Committee

Committee members play an important role in supporting the activities and growth of the YAMP SIG. Key responsibilities include:

  • Supporting the Chair and Vice-Chair in achieving established SIG goals and delivering the annual technical program
  • Assisting with the planning and delivery of activities outlined in the annual technical program
  • Promoting YAMP initiatives through professional networks
  • Recruiting new members and generating interest in the SIG’s mission and events

Eligibility and Commitment

These are volunteer positions and do not include remuneration. Applicants should be able to demonstrate they have the capacity to dedicate time to the role in addition to their regular employment. Committee meetings are typically held monthly, or as required.

Applicants must also be current members of the Asset Management Council.

Please note that submitting an expression of interest does not guarantee a position on the committee.
