New WiAM National Chair
The AMCouncil is delighted to announce that Lucie Mitchell has been elected as the Women in Asset Management SIG National Chair. The AMC would like to extend its sincere thanks to Felicia Tristanto, outgoing WiAM National Chair, for all her time and effort over the last three years.

AMCouncil August e-news is out now, packed with all the latest and greating AMCouncil happenings and news from the past month, including an announcement of an upcoming mentoring program which you have the opportunity to be a mentor to a woman in transport! 
The Canberra Chapter of the AMC hosted the second joint AIPM-AMC presentation to a packed audience at Engineering House in Barton, ACT on Tuesday evening of 14th August.
At Newcastle’s recent event, David Nicholas, Principal Consultant, Nicholas Corrosion Pty Ltd presented an interesting and engaging presentation on the variations of stainless steels used in domestic and industry applications. 
On Thursday August 17, Transport for NSW and Asset Management Council successfully hosted the Auburn Maintenance Centre technical site tour.
