The Brisbane Chapter invite you to the next Technical Session, Thursday 17th October:

Three speakers bring you three different talks…….

Luke Riddel – Senior Asset Management Specialist, Leighton Contractors
Steve O’Keeffe – Project Manager, Maintenance Project Engineering
Rory Bell – Business Development Manager NZ, SBS Global

About the Presentations

1. Integrating the CMMS with Decision Support Tools (DST) and GIS (Luke Riddel)

This presentation will demonstrate the benefits of integrating a CMMS with a GIS/ DST to provide a whole of life solution across any asset base (road, rail, facilities management, etc). LCPL has developed over the past 2 years a holistic solution for the physical assets contained within our long term projects. The approach allows scenario analysis, determining the cash flow profile up to 50 years, analysis of performance profiles and identification of condition vs. risk profiles with associated cash flow implications / levels of service. The issues and cultural shift required with developing such an approach will be discussed.

2. The Path to Less Paper (Steve O’Keeffe)

By redefining the way information is captured, processed and disseminated, organisations have the opportunity to improve process efficiency and reduce unnecessary cost. This presentation will discuss some of the benefits, opportunities, challenges and cultural barriers of introducing a paperless work management system in the mining sector.

3. CMMS Implementation at Fulton Hogan (Rory Bell)

The presentation will provide an overview of a CMMS implementation at Fulton Hogan (NZ) and outlines the little things that showed value to the company which instilled confidence in the system leading to improvements in utilisation, safety and lower operating costs.
