Sydney Sings Praises about Opera House Site Visit

The AMC Sydney Chapter conducted its annual site visit on the morning of Thursday 15th August. This year we had the privilege of being hosted for a behind the scenes tour of the iconic Sydney Opera House (SOH). SOH is an asset with a design life of 250 years, which opened in 1973 and hence is approaching 50 years old.

Keeping Australia Secure

On the 19th February 1942, shortly before 10AM, Japanese planes attacked the small town of Darwin, bombing an oil depot, hospital, and other infrastructure. A second raid, about an hour and half later, dessimated the RAAF base. Over the course of the two raids, over 200 people were killed, with double those numbers wounded1.

What the ashes of Notre Dame can tell us

Notre Dame Fire

The fire at Notre Dame Cathedral on 15th April 2019 was an unfortunate event. Many people around the world watched helplessly as flames ravaged the beloved and famed tourist attraction. Before fire fighters were able to control it, the fire destroyed the cathedral and many priceless historic artefacts.
