Last week, I attended two Asset Management Council supported events; the ISO Asset Management Standard Forum and the Sydney Chapter meeting, both held in central Sydney.
Both events were extremely informative and will assist me in my role to continuously build asset management capability within my company, Transfield Services.
Particularly, the ISO Asset Management Standard Forum was very informative and helpful for me to begin thinking and formulating the potential impacts that the ISO Asset Management Standard will have on business. The Sydney Chapter event consisted of an excellent example of best practice process within a United Kingdom based power utility.
I encourage all asset management community members to get along to such events in the future.
