GPS Technology: An Asset Management Overview
Thursday 14th February, Simon Best, National Mapping and GIS Manager of Ultimate Positioning Group will explore challenges faced by assets managers in local government and utility companies; Challenges that include
data accuracy, integrity and immediacy. Current digital technology eliminates the paper trail often associated with asset management. New technologies are also assisting in the collection of information to better manage sub-surface assets, and provide compliance with standards currently under review. Simon will provide details and information on some of the latest technology being used in the field.
