The Sydney Chapter invite you to the next Technical Session:
The Maintenance optimisation journey at Sydney Water, what worked, what challenged, what next. Presented by Bernie Sharidan
About the Presentation
Sydney Water provides water and wastewater services to 4.6 million customers in the Sydney metropolitan area. Over the last 7 years there has been a concerted effort to reduce costs and maintain service standards. Maintenance optimisation has been a foundation to improving operating and maintenance costs. This paper describes the practical approaches Sydney Water has used to improve maintenance performance and process reliability within Treatment and Pump Station assets. Insights will be provided into the challenges faced during implementation, and the effectiveness of the approaches used. It is hoped the presentation will provide valuable learnings for those managing high volume distributed assets and workforces, and generate good discussion on the experiences of others in the pursuit of excellence in this field.
