ISO 55001 Assessor Competency Test Project

The Asset Management Council has commenced collating questions for the ISO Assessor Competency Test.

The ISO Assessor Competency Test Project is designed to identify whether an individual has the asset management knowledge required by the GFMAM Competency Specification for an ISO 55001 Asset Management System Auditor/Assessor to become an ISO 5500X auditor.

The AM Council has formed five national teams to work with two international teams from Canada (PEMAC), and Brazil (ABRAMAN). The seven teams will produce a set of questions that will be psychometrically modified and finally produced as a multiple choice exam to test practitioners wanting to become ISO 55001 assessors.
